As the Regional Event Director, Dexter assists in bringing RISE’s mission and partnerships to life.

Previously, Dexter served as a Political Appointee in the Office of Management & Administration at The White House during President Barack Obama’s Administration. Prior to joining The White House, he was a Staff Assistant in the United States Senate and an intern in the Office of the Commissioner at Major League Baseball and at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Dexter is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan where he served as a Student Manager for the Men’s Basketball program. He also earned his Masters of Professional Studies in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University.

Dexter is passionate about using sports as a catalyst in improving race relations, diplomacy and mentorship. During his time in Washington, DC, Dexter actively volunteered as a mentor for the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy, which used baseball and softball as vehicles to improve underserved youth with health, academic achievement, and positive character development. Dexter bleeds Maize and Blue with a hint of Georgetown Gray.
